Medals at the Leon Paul winter competition

Well done Ben Schnieder and Calum Maynard who came 2nd and third respectively at the Leon Paul winter competition. Dave Hillier came 9th.


Medals Galore at the County Championships

Reading did very well at the Berks, Bucks and Oxon Country Championships at the weekend. We won all of the medals in the Mens event (Calum Maynard, Gold, Russell North Silver, Simon Readman and David Hillier Bronze). We also won the Ladies event (Liz Sandford), U14 boys (Gregor McLeod), U16 boys (Mathew Boyer), U18 girls (Charlotte Williams) and Emily Williams came third in the U16 Girls.

Attention all U18s - Half Term Training Camp

Wellington College is running a training camp in half term for pentathlon, let by Pentathlon GB Pathway Coach, Russell North.

There will be a big focus on fencing, with the sessions being run by Alain, and the camp will also be useful for athletic development and fitness.

Christmas Dinner 2016

This year the RFC Christmas meal will be on Monday 19th December at 6.30pm at Bill’s in Reading. All are welcome, but there is a separate Christmas event being organised for the juniors.

If you would like to join us, please confirm your attendance by Monday 5th December by emailing your menu choices to Verity (ptortus@gmail.com) and paying a £5 cash deposit to Dave Hillier or a bank transfer to RFC. The menu can be found here and there are two slightly different three-course menu options for £22.95 or £27.95.
